The client presented us with a business idea and asked us to create the name and design of the visual identity. He already had in his mind what he expected of the brand: which was associated with the claim. The result was: Connell, Author beer. We designed the identity based on that concept of authorship, personalizing the brand with the last name
Connell and taking the signature made with the author’s personal pen as the identifying symbol. In the same way that the list of names that we proposed while hinking about craft beer, the typography had to be associated with the wineries and the colors, red and yellow-gold, replicated a classic and aged connotation, typical of Irish bars.
